e-Commerce is eating up our markets and are now considered to be the smartest way of buying stuff. But

here are 5 Reasons why you shouldn't shop online if you are a shopaholic.

1. The time lag in getting your hands on the product.
If you are super excited in buying a product, we recommend you not to go for online shopping. The reason is simple, waiting from the time you order until the product reaches you is an appreciably frustrating part of the game. Adding to this, if your reside in any remote part of our country, the waiting can go even longer. Usually if your are super excited you might me most probably counting on fingers to grab the product in your hands.
And unfortunately if the product isn't what you wanted to be, the returning and ordering the right product again can really test your patience.

2. Garments and footwear are best tested when you wear them.
If you are into buying ready-made clothes or garments online, beware you aren't trying on them. The model displayed in the website maybe fair or dark, tall or short, masculine or skeletal. You might not be built as they are. Different types of clothes suit different types of people. These are clearly unpredictable. Just because a product has an attractive design or whether it suits the model cannot decide on whether it would look good on you. So it is always better if you go to a shop and try on them. And it is the same story with the foot wears.

3. Accessories are not as they seem to be in the computer screens.
Your eyes are entirely different from the camera lens. What you see on your computer screens are enhanced and edited versions of the products you are going to buy. Accessories are most often appreciably different from what you see on the websites. While you have them in your hands, you might feel that the one you saw the other day in the roadside shop was much better. Why take risks while you can find attractive stuff using your eyes and moving around.

4. Returns and Disputes are never treated well on calls.
In case you buy a product and you are left unsatisfied, don't you deserve a second chance? Yes, you do. While you purchase items online there are options for you to return the products, but the process you need to undergo is tedious. Find a courier partner, shipping the product back, waiting for their approval, waiting for your amount to be credited back, every part of the mission is challenging and frustrating. And what if the return ends up in a dispute? How long are you going to explain stuff to the telephonic agent you are speaking to? I don't mean that you can never find a solution. Obviously you can and you will. But you will indeed have to go through a lot of steps. Where as if you shop your product from an offline retailer the chances of getting your issue resolved in higher and faster.

5. Warranty, Guarantee and other after sales services.
In most of the cases the after sales services are referred to the concerned brands by the websites without their direct involvement. Whether it be a laptop, a watch or any electronic device. Once you experience a trouble and contact the online seller, they most commonly given reply is the details of the Brand's customer care number or their service center details. The websites do not play any role in the service sector and it is your sole responsibility to find and get your product fixed by the authorized service center. But if you shop your products offline there are high chances of your retailer carrying out these procedures for you which is less hectic. And the influence of a retailer over the dealer is always more than what the consumer has.

Do you remember the Paul Octopus? A question that is truly irrelevant to any football fan in the world. During the last world cup we had him predicting the results of matches, and fortunately most of them were right. We can indeed admit that Paul was one of the most celebrated stars of the previous world cup. Since then every pet owner has tried to catch up to Paul's legacy with their pets. And who all are in store for this time?

Animals with abilities to predict the match outcomes are already celebrating their life around the world. Ranging from worms to elephants, monkeys to snakes, there won't anyone spared. Who is predicting what? How and when? Let us take a look at it.

Here is a study result that is shocking to almost every mobile user around the globe. This article points its
fingers to the men 'especially', which includes me, which means us. Drop in your mobile phones to your pocket, and there are less chances of yourself becoming a grandfather.

Well, that might sound strange. In fact it reduces your chances of becoming a father, studies suggest. Mobile phones have an invisible capability to kill your sperms.

Recently scientists at the 'University of Exeter' found that electromagnetic radiation lowered movement of sperm by 8 per cent. They also claim that mobile phones radiate cancerous radiations which not only kills your sperms but also affects your reproductive systems. This does not imply only while the mobile is active, but also while they are idle. Sperm viability is also being challenged in the cases of men keeping their mobiles in their pockets based on study of sperms collected from around 1492 men.

However, Dr Allan Pacey, a leading fertility expert at the University of Sheffield, said he was not convinced by the study and would continue to keep his mobile phones safe in his pockets.

The girl who traveled to Turkey along with her family members was welcomed back by the telecom
company with the bill of approximately 3 Lakh Rupees.

During the 2 week stay at turkey she is said to have consumed mobile data of around 630MB, which she used for browsing Facebook, twitter and whats-app. She was charged 2907 Pounds by the mobile company for her usage.

While the telecom company confirms the issue, they also claim to have sent Messages regarding the large data usage while she was roaming. They also introduced her tariff-cutting bulk packs during her visit.

The mobile which is under her mother's name is now a debt for the family. Hope this story turns into an eye opener for every other mobile user. be vigilant over your roaming usages.

The recent blow to the keralites is that the E-Commerce portals of the country are withdrawing their services
from the Kerala sector. After stopping cash on delivery order shipments to Kerala, major e-commerce portals stopped shipping items to main cities of Kerala. A decision that has triggered widespread protests and surprise to the online customers. As always online portals offered larger product availability as well as cheaper pricing. E-Commerce had started to become one of the most popular online trends while the withdrawal has hit Kerala. The reason behind the move was allegedly some tussle with the sales tax department. Kerala being a state always against modernization, this step has triggered anger amongst the keralites.

Online sellers received messages from major e-commerce portals to stop processing orders from Kerala. One such message is as follows:

“Dear Sir/Mam,  Please refrain from shipping any orders to Kerala, we have got notifications from almost all partner logistics companies that the Kerala State Sales Tax Department has raised serious concerns over e-commerce shipment coming into Kerala without a State entry form. The logistics companies are in constant dialogue with the authorities to resolve the issue, we shall keep you notified on future development.”

Voices are heard over the retailers in the state being reasonable to this decision of the government. As online portals emerged, the retailers had tough competition as the common man had a price that was unbeatable, offered by the portals. Online portals also had large variety of choices and product availability. Offers were a part of the online lifestyle. Saving the fuel costs was another added advantage to many others.

Hope that the state government takes necessary actions against this unethical and highly protested move from their side.
