- Gravity, Beaumonde The Fern
The Gravity is located at the Vivekananda Lane, Beaumonde The Fern, Ernakulam, Kochi. Like the other pubs mentioned in this post, this is also one of a kind pub in the city. The place offers light music and dance floors. There are in house DJs and party freaks throughout the night. Weekends are really busy and a visit on Saturdays are worth it.

Here are some reviews extracted from various sites.

"I love this place. I visit this place once a while. Nice food. Amazing cocktail. Fast and light music with a mind blowing dance floor. A bit expensive compared to other parts of Kochi but a visit isn't very much of a waste."

So these are the handpicked three of the various pubs active in Kochi. Drop us a comment if you have some better options. We appreciate your suggestions.

Everything in this part of the city is fast and busy. The vendors are busy selling their wares. The shop keepers are busy convincing their customers. The customers are busy bargaining. The pedestrians are marching quickly to their destinations. The tourists and onlookers are busy enjoying the wonderful scenery this amazing place is offering.

This part of the city is active even during the late hours. There are people returning home after a tiring day at their office, the school children, the college guys and girls hanging around and all sorts of people. The city gets completely lighted up, the advertisements shine brighter. The decorative lights are a common scenario. There are various street side vendors who open up only after the sunsets. The city is completely different as the sun sets.

The price of the wares sold here are usually moderate if you are a local. The shop keepers tend to sell their goods sky high if you are an outsider or a tourist. Most of the brands have their outlets in this part of Kochi. Levi's, Puma, Parthas and all the other leading outlets have made their footprint in this southern part of India.

MG Road is also a favorite spot for youngsters who wish to dine out. The chain of fast food restaurants are the longest in this lane. Be it the western brands like KFC, Pizzahut, McDonalds or the India supers like Masala Dosas and Vadas - MG Road is the best suggestion. There are restaurants and cafes that fit any budget open throughout the day and late hours of night. Have a walk through the lane and prepare your mind to treat your taste buds.

So the next time you have some free time or you plan to visit Kochi, visit the age old MG Road - This little city has so much to tell ;)

#2: The Mystery Hidden Within !

Behind the darkness everything is simply mystical. There is nothing you can hear except your wheels touching the road, the leaves kissing each other or maybe the stray dogs playing in a world of their own. If you love fear or horror, drive your car through the woods, there is definitely something waiting you. If not, move through the city that is sleeping. It has something equally amazing.

#3: Your city gets sexier at night, something that she doesn't show during the day ;)

The busiest cafe isn't open. The hottest salon is closed. The densest shopping mall is out of work. The traffic lights are taking rest. Everything and anything is different during the night. No body stops your car at the junctions. There are a very few people outside. Few 24 hour coffee shops are waiting for you, maybe only you. And similarly where ever you turn, there is something different. Enjoy it.

#4: Romance or Masti, The night suits it all !

Everything is so quiet and still, you can either make it into a priceless romantic moment with your girlfriend or a night to remember with your best friends!

#5: Music, Speed and Food; The best combination you can have in your life ;)

Plug in your iPod. Turn the volumes up. Hum along your favorite songs, there is no one going to scream that 'Shut Up'. Apply your force on the accelerator. And put one of your hands in the pack of your favorite chips. What more to make the best moment of your life? It is moments like these that make you love your life, isn't it?

#6: The Surprises it offer !

The night is always full of surprises. You never know when you find an ice cream stall late at night or a roadside vendor selling the best Chat ever! The Ice-Creams that you get during the mid-night is really different from that during the day. Give it a try before your next visit to our site ;)

#7:  Watch the sun rise, something that you don't get to see always !

Hand over the wheels to your best friend and stick your head out of the window, feeling the wind gush through your hair and help you let loose for a while. The dawn making way for the sun to rise and the sky changing its color from dark to an illuminating shade of blue with tinges of orange. These are all the nature's surprises for you.

Here Are 3 Reasons IPhone Is a Waste !

Now, Here Are 3 Reasons IPhone Is Worth It !

1. Oh Wow, You Own an IPhone?!

Yes, that's one of the best advantages of having an IPhone. You can brag about it to everyone around you. You can attract your crush by simply holding it the way she can see the Apple logo. You can go to a shopping mall, a cafe or any other public place and show it off. You can go for a business meeting and impress your clients with the apple logo.

2. You are a bit more safe from Malwares and Other Threats !

You are protected from malwares, viruses, spywares and other risks when compared to other platforms. Due to the isolated nature of the platform and much more filtered applications entering the store, the chances of getting infected are less. But this does not mean you are completely safe. Even the rival platforms are keeping up the security measures up to the standard. And therefore this isn't a matter of great concern.

While learning how to use any new piece of kit can take some time, even the most confused tech user can master an iPhone in a short while. The layout is simple, with everything given a clear symbol and name, such as Settings or Camera. The only reason that the IPhone is smooth is because of the highly customized and 'made for the hardware' that powers it. Where as the other platforms are made to run on various variants of hardware combinations.

Play some music, call some friends home and prepare some cakes. This can bring about the feeling of a party. Dance as the music is being played in the background. The dance, the food and the quality time spend would definitely be a wonderful experience to the birthday boy/girl.

Singing Happy Birthday as a group is definitely good to hear and this would make the day feel big for the birthday girl or boy. This doesn't require much of practice or preparations. Something that can be organized easily. But the song really makes a pleasant feel to the listener.

Prep time: 5 mins | Cook time: 10 mins | Total time: 15 Mins | Serves: 2

Ingredients:
- 20 no's Caramel chocolates
- 1 to 1 1/2 Cups Milk
- 1 Tbsp broken cashews , roasted in ghee.

Instructions:

- Boil the milk and keep it aside.

- Melt the chocolates using a double boiler method. Boil water in a pan and then place a clean glass bowl on top of it. Make sure the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water and it sits perfectly in the pan. Once the chocolate melts take it off the stove.

- Slowly add the milk and stir it. Sometimes adding milk to melted chocolate gets curdled. So add little by little and check.

- Finally add the cashews and refrigerate it for an hour or so.

Notes:
- Melting the chocolate using the double boiler method helps in melting evenly and without burning it. You can also melt it in the microwave. Keep the power level medium.
- Add milk according to the consistency you need and also on cooling it thickens. Do not make it very runny.
- This tastes good only when it is chilled. I feel it tastes like bournvita or boost when having it warm. So refrigerate it at least for 15 minutes before serving.

Treat your taste buds with this amazing Desert which can be prepared in minutes.

3. Harden the scooped ice cream balls in the freezer. Place the sheets of ice cream balls into the freezer and leave them there for at least 30 minutes and up to two hours.
4. Set out the bowls for dipping. Place a bowl of flour, a bowl of beaten egg and a bowl of crushed cereal or fine cookie/cracker crumbs in the work space, in a formation that makes it easy to dip in order.

2. Lack of Support - Hardware and Software.

The device can be classified under a high-end android device based on its specifications. And mostly require an expert guidance to enjoy the complete performance before you get used to the device. Unlike the leading brands of Indian market, Xiaomi is yet to come up with online or offline support systems. All that is running now is a customer care that you can reach at 1800-103-6286.

3. Quality of the product. The quality of the product is yet to be reviewed. Customers are just getting the device into their hands. Specifications alone wont make a good deal. The quality of the product is an important factor. It would take at least 6-12 months for some good reviews to come up. Until the then you can blindly invest into an electronic device, without much hope. We do not say that the product is cheap in build quality, but we cannot assure you that the product can make wonders happen. Better give a wait.

4. Pixel Density of the Screen

One of the few features in which the device lags a bit is in the display. The display comes with an approx. 440~ Pixel ratio, which is definitely less than an average display quality. For those mobile freaks who look for ultra clear displays, this isn't your piece of cake. The competent Motorola or Micromax has a better deal for you in store. Have a comparison before you buy one.

5. Lack of Expandable Memory
With all the things that we would want to store on our smartphones, the option of expandable storage will always come handy. However the Xiaomi Mi3 has no option for expandable storage and this is a major let down for a phone with such impressive specifications.

6. Slippery Build.

The Xiaomi Mi3 body is made of brushed aluminum and this makes it extremely slippery. If you are planning to buy this smartphone, you should also consider investing in a good protecting case.

So let us keep aside all the existing Taboo against the Chinese products and keep these technical factors in mind before buying this budget device. But for the price tag associated with the gadget, it is a pretty good deal.

The latest strategy played by the brands today is that they make both cheaper as well as dearer models. But the cheaper models are too behind in the specifications they possess. While the budget brands pack in powerful machines at a price that is lower than the popular brand's budget phone's. This confuses the buyer at-least to some extend. Even though these factors least influence the techy buyers who go for specifications rather than the brand name, they make a good deal in the minds of those middle class people who still seem to be running behind the brands.

Now the questions comes up, is there anything that only the leading brands can offer? One answer for sure. Innovation. The leading brands always come up with the latest features where as the budget brands take a while to create the duplicate. This is one of the most exclusive feature about the leading brands. While they introduce something to the market, it will always be unique and exclusive. We cannot expect such wonders from the budget brands. But in a few months you can grab that newest feature on a budget smartphone, just allow them some time to get it rebuilt.

While we question the quality and performance of the product, mostly there isn't any appreciable difference seen. In terms of performance, both the smartphones with the same specifications seem to perform equally. The processors and the memories function competently. There are no lags created just because it is a budget brand. Even if you have heard someone saying that, it is just the mind set of the people that you get something more in a leading brand just because you pay more. The quality of the product is also somewhat appreciably good for the budget brands today. While they strive to develop an identity to their brand in the market, they wont tend to compromise on its quality, at least these days of brand's growth. So you can count them on this. Earlier there were things such as the touch sensitivity, the speaker clarity, the camera quality, etc being accounted only to the top brands. All this has changed now. Try your hands on those budget brands, you might get amazed that they are better than the leading brand you own.

Next issue is regarding the radiation and safety concerns. Every smartphone has to pass through the international standards to introduce them to the public. The standards are tested by the authorities and indeed there might be slight differences due to the difference in the components used by different brands, but nothing to worry upon. At the end of the day, its all the same. Using anyone of them would make somewhat the same impact on you and the nature.

Which means the conclusion is that if you do not bother in showing off the brand in your hands, you can definitely rely upon the budget smartphones in the market. In terms of quality you can find a metallic build budget phone far better than a plastic build leading brand. The choice is yours.
